Delete your account

Delete from inside the app

1. Open ShareDues and go to the Me tab.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

Can't access the app?

Email support@sharedues.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account details — email, name, photo, and sign-in credentials.
• Your personal records — expenses, income, loans, and settings that only you can see.
• Chat assistant links — any connected Telegram or WhatsApp accounts are unlinked.

Delete some data without deleting your account

You can delete individual records—expenses, income entries, and loans you created—directly inside ShareDues at any time, and disconnect Telegram or WhatsApp from Settings. To request deletion of specific data you can't remove yourself, email support@sharedues.com from your account email; we'll handle it within 30 days.

What may persist

Records you shared with other people—like an expense split in a circle—remain visible to them so their own balances stay correct, but without your identity attached. Residual copies in our encrypted backups are purged automatically within 30 days. For the full picture, see the privacy policy.
